#SCREENY WEENY 4.0 ANDROID#
With a screen resolution of 1024圆00, it's a slightly lower resolution than 10-inch Android tablets, which usually run at 1280x800, but because the screen is quite a bit smaller, the pixel density is higher. The first thing you notice on any tablet is the screen, and the Galaxy Tab is no exception. With impressive Android tablets like the Asus Transformer range in play, the Tab had to up its game to win me over. The original model didn't impress me - it was underpowered and ran a version of Android more suited to a phone than a tablet. Although it hasn't had a facelift and the screen is the same, most of the internals have had a work-over.
#SCREENY WEENY 4.0 PLUS#
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is the upgraded version of the original Galaxy Tab. Samsung, though, has dominated it, with several models of tablets in the smaller size, and large-format phones establishing a further niche in between. BlackBerry, conversely, embraced it with only the seven-inch format PlayBook and nothing larger. Proponents point to the convenience of a device you can hold comfortably in one hand and slip into a pocket, without compromising on capability.Īpple, so far, has eschewed the smaller tablet market entirely.
#SCREENY WEENY 4.0 FULL#
Too small to be full tablets of the iPad variety, too big to be phones, say detractors. They are the Marmite of the tablet world - you either love them or you hate them. 64 pages, Full Color. The seven-inch tablet market is an interesting space.
